TTWCA in collaboration with Liz Claiborne and Art Ortenberg Foundation is implementing the project: Conservation and Ranger Empowerment project (CORE).

The project’s objectives is to build ranger capacity to effectively monitor endangered and conflict-prone species (elephants, giraffes, lions, Grevy’s zebra) and respond to HWC.

Equip and operationalize the TTWCA Security Sub-Hub to serve as the central convergence for ecological data management and Rapid Response activities.

It also aims at implementing community-based Human Wildlife Coexistence mitigation measures to reduce conflict, strengthen coexistence, and create alternative livelihoods
